“In my acrylic paintings, I use interference, metallics, and other techniques and devices that cause some of the colors to change and light to favor certain sections more or less, depending on how you look at them. In some pieces, the entire composition shifts. Your approach to the work changes how you experience it. Of course, this makes my acrylics impossible to capture in a photograph. I believe that they look a billion times better in person, though I may be biased.”
